Practical Help. Compassionate Care
Heartful Voyage provides family-centered programs designed to reduce the strain surrounding a child’s hospitalization and help families remain close, supported, and connected.
When a child receives hospital care far from home, families may face housing costs, interrupted employment, unfamiliar surroundings, travel expenses, emotional exhaustion, and separation from their support systems.
Heartful Homes
Heartful Homes is our temporary housing program for families whose children are receiving treatment in Gainesville.
Our tiny homes are designed to provide families with a comfortable, private, and welcoming place to rest, prepare meals, and spend time together outside the hospital environment.
Heartful RVs
Heartful Voyage is developing a family-friendly recreational vehicle program to expand our housing capacity.
These mobile accommodations will provide greater flexibility and may allow us to support families near treatment centers or in locations where traditional short-term housing is unavailable or unaffordable.
Emergency Lodging Assistance
When our direct accommodations are full or unavailable, we help families explore other temporary lodging possibilities.
These options may include local hotels, extended-stay accommodations, partner properties, short-term housing, hospital-associated family lodging, and other nonprofit housing programs.
Whole-Family Wellness
Through trusted community partners, families may be connected with mental health support, restorative wellness experiences, family-centered counseling, outdoor activities, stress-relief resources, and other opportunities for rest and renewal.
Our community partners include The Giving Garden, Gainesville Swedish Sauna, local therapists, wellness professionals, and other businesses committed to compassionate family care.
